Graphic design (infographics) career path – an advanced 64-hour programme taking you from beginner to professional level. Complete path to become a graphic designer: design principles, Photoshop, Illustrator, brand identity, packaging and print. Individual training (max 2 people per session), split into progressive phases with a project at every step. The trainers use these technologies every day on client projects at the IDURAR studio.
Path and detailed programme
Phase 1 – Graphic design fundamentals (8 h)
- Colour theory, harmonies and colour psychology
- Typography: families, pairing, hierarchy and readability
- Composition, grids, balance and white space
- Visual hierarchy and how people read a design
- Design culture and reference analysis
Phase 2 – Advanced Photoshop (16 h)
- Layers, masks, smart objects and blend modes
- Professional retouching (skin, products, frequency separation)
- Photo manipulation and realistic compositing
- Social media visuals, banners and ads
- Actions, scripts and automating repetitive tasks
Phase 3 – Advanced Illustrator (16 h)
- Mastering the pen tool, shapes and shape builder
- Designing logos, pictograms and icons
- Vector illustration and blends
- Typographic layout and lettering
- Patterns, symbols and mockup preparation
Phase 4 – Visual identity and packaging (14 h)
- Reading a client brief and proposing creative directions
- Logo and full brand guidelines
- Applications: stationery, signage, social media
- Labels, boxes and packaging with die-cut templates
- Presenting and defending your work to a client
Phase 5 – Print, freelancing and portfolio (10 h)
- CMYK, Pantone, bleed, ICC profiles and resolution
- Working with a printer and checking proofs
- Quotes, feedback rounds and client relations as a freelancer
- Professional portfolio (Behance, PDF, website)
- Final project presented and assessed
